We had the best weekend! We went to see Scott, Jennifer, Sam & Sarah in West Virginia and, while it was too humid to breathe, their nice, cool house, GIANT TV,
Wii game system, and endless supply of treats meant we were completely entertained the whole time we were there!! The kids had a BLAST!! They literally ran for 3 days! They played lots of
Wii, beat the parents at a game of Harry Potter Scene-It (I helped!!), swam, watched movies, had a "sleepover" in Sam's room, herded goats (it's true), and had the best time being together. Sarah has a sassy new 'do and looks so grown up! She is very
snuggly and loves to be tickled. She is AWESOME at
Wii bowling and usually beats the grown-ups! Sam loves to play
Wii, too, and he has a ton of
Legos! He's in second grade and loves to play sports. On Saturday, we were watching TV and saw an Olive Garden commercial for their
Neverending Pasta Bowl promotion and that's all we could think about all day! So we went for lunch and it was yummy. If you go, have the new
Asiago Garlic Alfredo with the
Orrecchiete pasta - it's
de-
lish! We can't wait to go back to West Virginia . . . or to Olive Garden!
After hanging by a thread for days, Bailey's tooth finally came out at school on Friday and she was so excited! She had nearly worn it out so I'm sure it came out from sheer exhaustion! She put that tiny tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy brought her a dollar and a pack of gum - not a bad deal!
